INTRODUCTION
A fundamental appeal of many expeditions is the idea of exploration. Discovering an ancient kingdom, exploring an underground cave system or simply placing a foot where none has gone before. The truth in the twenty-first century is that this is an increasingly rare element – Everest and the Poles, each the holy grail of exploration at some point in history, have all now been reached hundreds of times.
But there are still mountains out there that have never been climbed. Huge mounds of rock that have not had a single human being present on their summit. And you know what? They’re not that hard to find and they’re not always too difficult to climb either.
How do I know? Because I’ve run three of my own expeditions with the goal of making first (or first British) ascents, and I am neither an expert on mountain ranges of the world nor an expert mountaineer.
Here’s how you can go about finding them…
TYPES OF UNCLIMBED MOUNTAINS
In my mind there are two distinct types of unclimbed mountains: There are the ones that are really difficult and which have eluded the world’s mountaineers through their technical complexities, dangerous conditions or complicated access. These are fewer and further between (more common are “new routes” up previously conquered peaks) and, by their very nature, require a significant degree of expertise. It is for this latter reason that such mountains will not be the focus of this article.
The second type, however, are the ones that have never been climbed simply because no one has been there and had a go yet. We’ll explore the reasons for their virgin status later but it is this cohort which, with the right research and preparation, is open to the enthusiastic and well-prepared amateur.

Tower of London
London has many attractions. This is city of tourist interest. There are many attractions in London like British Museum, Canterbury Cathedral, Hadrian’s Wall Holy Island, Jorvik Viking Centre, Roman Baths, Stonehenge, York Minster and Tower of London.
All these attractions are world famous and attract tourists from all over the world. London is known for its fascinating places. This is a brief article about the tower which explains in brief about its history and its importance in the ancient time. Lower Thames Streets traces the medieval banks of the river past the old Billingsgate Fish Market and elegant custom house. A squat stone building commands this south east corner of this city the medieval Tower of London.
The tower has served over the centuries as fortress, palace, prison and museum, as well as arsenal, archive, menagerie and treasure chest. William the Conqueror built the inner keep, the White Tower as both a military stronghold and a means of impressing new subjects in England. Construction began in 1070s and was completed in 1100. It was largest building in Britain and soon symbolized royal domination. It remained a royal residence until the 16th century, when court moved to the more comfortable quarters in Westminster. It has become the store house for Crown Jewels and the most infamous prison and execution ground in London. After 1747 this place served as the Royal Mint, Archive and Menagerie- until the elephants, lions and bears were moved to Regent’s Park Zoo. German spies were executed here in both world wars. It was most prestigious jail, reserved for the enemies of the state. Henry 6th and Richards 2nd were among the royal prisoners, and in 1483 Edward 4th heirs, Prince Edward aged 12, and Prince Richards, 10, were murdered in what came to be called the “Bloody Tower”. This is really a place which tourists should not miss while visiting Britain. If you will miss to see it you will really miss something very important and beautiful place.

A buddy of mine is the proud owner of a brand new Beneteau. It’s been fun to watch him proceed through the selection and buying process, and I look forward to taking the helm of his new love one day.
He is in the midst of making the boat his own, and one of the items at the top of the list is arriving at a name. He asked me about this a few days ago; knowing that I’m on my third boat, he asked me how I’ve arrived at the various names that have been painted on the hulls I’ve owned.
The question got me thinking about the almost capricious ways I’ve named my boats, and the four “rules” I’ve come up with for the exercise.
BOAT NAMING RULE #1:MAKE IT MEANINGFUL
Come up with a name that means something to or about you. Brandy, my first boat, had a double meaning: Brandy was my nickname in college (after the song that was popular in my freshman year), and my husband’s father owned a business called “Brandywine Something” (I forget the second word). Ciao Bella, my second boat, was named because we saw her right after spending a month in Italy; she looked so pretty there at the dock, it was natural to say the phrase we had been hearing addressed to pretty women for the past 30 days. Nehalennia was named because of my fascination with Celtic mythology; Nehalennia was a significant goddess in the North Sea region and protectress of mariners.
BOAT NAMING RULE #2: AVOID TRITENESS
This is kind of a corollary to #1. There seems to be a set of names that get used over and over again. I have lost count of how many “Destinys” and “Serenitys” I’ve seen on the water (my apologies to anyone whose boats are so named). I think it’s important to strive for at least some degree of uniqueness in your name.

Caribbean vacations are as much part of the American dream as the white picket fence. In fact they are probably part of the white picket fence ideal. No other vacation destination conjures up such as sense of longing, or when you get there such a sense of satisfaction. You feel that you have left your everyday life for a few short weeks and found a piece of paradise. A private Caribbean island is the ultimate millionaire’s trophy, but the rest of us settle for public beaches and echoes of that luxury, which is where accommodation in Trujillo comes in…
Luxury is not hard to come by in the Caribbean, but the price tag often reflects it. This has caused more and more people to look beyond the established Caribbean treasures for undiscovered gems. A rising star in the undiscovered gem market is the north coast of Honduras. Overlooked for the neighboring Bay Islands for many years, the unspoiled beach stretches and unpretentious resorts that populate the area seem to be finally getting their dues.
I recently stayed in the Trujillo Bay area, overlooked even within Honduras and was surprised by the different aspects of the Caribbean dream I could get at a fraction of the price. I stayed at Banana Beach a secluded resort, with private Cabanas and great amenities, more suited to adult clientele than families. The resort is in a great position to see the surrounding area. It is about 30 minutes from central Trujillo and close to the vibrant Garifuna towns of San Antonio and Santa Fe. Accommodation in Trujillo, even at the luxury end, is still pretty affordable.

Cruising aboard a sailboat is a dream for many people. After 25 years aboard boats, I can verify that some parts of the dream are indeed real. Here are my votes for the best parts.
Seeing new places. My childhood as a military brat has contributed to the gypsy-like quality of my adult life. I love to see new places, preferably in an “up close and personal” way that isn’t usually accessible as a tourist. I enjoy getting to know a place from a resident’s point of view, and living on a boat is a great way to do that.
My cruising pace is on the slow side, and it’s not unusual for us to stay in one place for a fairly long period of time-one to five months, maybe longer. I like cruising this way, because it allows me much greater familiarity with the personality and culture of the place. La Paz and Socorro Island (Mexico), Cocos Island and Puntarenas (Costa Rica), Balboa and the San Blas Islands (Panama), Cartagena (Colombia), Annapolis and Oxford (Maryland), Charleston (South Carolina), and Tarpon Springs (Florida) are examples of places where I have resided for fairly long periods as a transient cruiser.
This is not to say that I haven’t also enjoyed the spots I’ve passed through quickly. Even just a few days somewhere is fun!
Meeting new friends. Whether locals or other cruisers, I am fortunate to have become acquainted with some great people along the way. Friendships have grown with folks with whom I never would have crossed paths back home.

A private car can reflect its owner personality. Do not believe? A car that looks dirty and rundown it is impossible owned by a clean and tidy person. So, do not let people think that you are not a good person just because your car looks ugly. If your car does not reflect your personality, modify it now. Do not let your friends in a car club underestimate you just because your car is an old Chevrolet. It’s not about age, but the matter of out looking. An old car will make wide-eyed if its appearance is amazing.
There are many ways to make your old car look fresher. No need to make you bankrupt. But if you have enough cash, do not hesitate to modify it heavily. Whatever method you use, for car accessories business, do not buy at any store. Make sure you store only provide good quality goods.
